My beloved Very Old Barton has changed.
They changed it to 80proof from 90.
The 90 is still around. They make a 100 too. Only seen it in Kentucky.

never seen the 1792 12 yr. In the wild. How does it compare to the reg?
Richer nose, less ethanol note and all the rough edges are smoother. The Kentucky hug (burn) comes in on the back side vs hits you up front. Light citrus notes. Reminds me of an oakier Eagle Rare.
