The P7 is Coming Back and Bringing Some New Friends

Thanks HK, now I'm going to need a short titanium 9mm can.

This screams Cialis.

If you enjoy shooting wet, the ecco canine is incredible

I have owned several HKP7 variants over the years. I enjoyed them. I’m glad I don’t own them anymore.
Too heavy, aggravating squeeze cocking and just not my cup of tea.
Besides, my 1911’s are far superior in every way lol…and American made.

The PSP (police service pistol) was an amazing European police service pistol and had an incredibly cool very innovative design that was very intuitive -the idea was to minimize training and accidents. The idea took off the P7 evolved then the P7 m8 and P7 m13 were developed in an early HK (that no longer exist) to appeal to the American market (some lugging, a heat shield, and the relocation of the mag release made it more American but not as good) at 400.00 to 600.00 it was still an awesome pistol - you could modify 9mm Tokarev mags for the single stacks and if you had a rigid pinky nail you could de-cock it with stealth, however all the later versions were heavy - prone to mag dumping - shiny - expensive and low capacity (but man in the hands of Hans Gruber)

If you value cool factor brand name (historically in a replica kind of way) unique innovative ideas (highly for the eighties) and dont mind dumping mags low capacity a lot of weight (lots of steel) paying more than 3 nice Glocks

Ive had several PSP's and P7's loved them but they get put away in favor of a p365 Glock or Ruger

Not saying its all good but almost all modern pistol manufacturers gravitate towards polymer parts (HK did a couple of the first with the VP-70 horrific the P-9 nearly perfect) not because they are better but because they are cheaper
