when the younger generation are taught that "guns are evil" and nothing beyond that then the safe handling of firearms is forgotten by them. many parents nowadays simply make a firearms "forbidden objects" so the youngster will hurt themselves when they do use it inappropriately and be scared of them for life.I think this is particularly true in our new social order in the USA:
