These new pop up ads on odt suck!

Oh you must be joking because thats pretty much saying that supporters are not getting them but were ok with non supporters getting them and maybe we are the ones doing it.

No way dose the ODT allow for pop up ads, we have ad banners in place but nothing for pop ups. Those of you that are getting the pop ups need to look on your end. To say we allow pop ups for "non supporters" is kind of offensive. We value all of the members here, we appreciate supporters as they help keep the place going but is not required or frowned upon.
From my experience, if you have young kids that use your device, Nick Jr and sites like that are the worst about this type of stuff than porn sites. The kids will click anything just to play the online games.

True. Disable all ad ons on the broswer. Or get Google chrome.

We should never have any pop ups like that but some times they piggy back in with the regular ads. The reason it doesn't happen to supporters is because they don't see any outside ads right now. I don't guarantee no ads for supporters, it just works out that way sometimes.
If anyone is having it happen enough for me to try and diagnose the cause please let me know.
Personally I see every ad and more in my view and I haven't had the issue yet using chrome and Windows 8.

chopps, of course I was joking. the supporter I was talking about in no way has anything to do with the supporters on odt. think about a sports supporter. that you wear...........I know it was a bit too much, but I didn't want to spell it out.............
I have chrome, no ad ons. no viruses.
Well when you joke about crap like that it leaves things open for interpetation.................... like rumors and such.
