Taking into account most of the ignorant comments on here, and the general lack of awareness and appreciation for ways of cultures that differ from the US, it's not hard to see why Americans enjoy such a ****ty reputation abroad. How insecure are most of you anyway? It's gay? Get out and see the world. It'll broaden your perspective and maybe deepen your appreciation for things that are distinct to the US, as well as foster an appreciation for other cultures as well.

That's pretty condescending of you. If someone thinks it is gay that makes them

and they've never been outside the US????

If you enjoyed that ritual good for you. I would be embarrassed as hell to participate in a military spectacle like that. Makes their soldiers look like a bunch of dancing clowns.

Definitely interesting, there is a distinct difference in the two styles. I did chuckle at the Pakistani head capes though. From the crowd it looks to be a significant daily event. Pretty neat

That would be worth seeing in person. I can appreciate this more than some of you. I have worked with both Indians and Pakistanis and I can tell you that this isn't a joke. They are still bitter to each other and the fact that they do a respectful event like this just proves that they have an amazing culture.

I agree. Being on different sides of political issues, but still respecting each other's humanity is to be admired.
