Youngest stepdaughter was a server/waitress for several years. I saw how hard she worked. We never tip less than 20% as long as the service is decent.

Like palmettomoon I have worked in service jobs as a young man. Most anyone who ever has is a generous tipper, except don’t reward poor or rude service.

What’s pissing me off these days is to go into a place to eat or any where as far as that’s concerned and these teenagers just stand there and look at you like your a pain in there a$$.

They have a sign on the register to please tip at least $3.

Anyway, I tipped $5 on an 18 dollar haircut. But I don't like the sign they have posted...

I used to go to the barbershop off Windward/Hwy 9 but the woman that cut my hair kept getting more and more popular. And I got tired of waiting longer and longer.

Rolled the dice at Great Clips around the corner. Honestly they do a decent job. And senior discount.

But nothing like the old-school barbershop experience.

Bad service might still get a tip out of me. Who am I to judge their life, shift or aptitude? At least they're working.
Rude or entitled service? Pffft.
I've had rude service where they've dropped the bill giving attitude like they dare me not to tip.
Challenge accepted.

Same here I worked in restaurants when I was in school and my family owned a restaurant later in life. I will always tip generously unless the server is rude or lazy.

3. Mother's Day
4. Family Reunions
5. People who order a cocktail, and then tell me I made it wrong. Either tell me what you want, or tell me how you want it made. Not both.
