I’d highly recommend not getting out of the car and going straight up to Unicoi, or anywhere else really.

Great German food at old heidleberg? Nothing like a hot schnitzel with cherry gravy and kraut until you can make it back to Germany! Be prepared to pay for parking. Go and enjoy.

I toured this in Helen and met the man who built it. At the time it had the largest HO scale mountain in the world.

Stay away from Troll Tavern. Big Daddy's is usually good. Paul's on the river is usually hopping

Drive to Vogel State Park. that place is beautiful
