Don't loan out my tools to anybody...because they are %'n stupid and if they had experience with it they would own it already.
That makes the best sense. I don't like to borrow things and I don't like to loan out stuff. The very few times I did borrow something I always got it back to them pronto and in good shape. I learned quick not to loan stuff out
To get to my house you have to go to nowhere and take a left so no one wants to drive that far to borrow or return anything.
When I worked as a mechanic, we always had people coming into the shop wanting to borrow this and that. A wrench, pliers, screwdriver…. Our stuff was mostly Snap-on , Matco, etc., ….. expensive stuff. So I got to where I would either say no or tell them “yeah you leave me a hundred dollar bill and I will loan you a wrench”… That always got some looks ! LMAO
How about handi-man services. I told my wife when her sister built her house on our property that I refused to be her personal handi-man.
You have to. Money doesn't grow on trees. And that was your livelihood.
