Sometimes, reaching for the old school basics is a necessity. Like this morning for example. I reached for the classic Marlin 39A Golden Mountie with iron sights and paired it up with some CCI Quiet Segmented. I never even disturbed the neighbors!

My neighbor back in Pa on the adjacent farm grew up eating those.
His mama called them Appalachian prairy dogs ..
He would sometimes bring one over and ask if we wanted one for dinner.
We were like “Nah were good.”

One time we invited him over for barbecued chicken legs and he ate the bone, gristle and all.
