I don't care how arrogant you are. You cant drive on wet ice without chains or spikes. This is true around the globe and YES the laws of physics even affect people from up north. People from the south don't invest in a set of snow tires because we would only use them one day a year. This makes traffic VERY dangerous when it does snow/ice.
FACT: Snow and icy roads cause more fatalities yearly than any other hazards on the road.......Even for people from up north.
True statement. I remember driving on the Garden State Parkway in NJ one day and it was snowy. I was in my Sentra puttin along and a Hummer H2 passes me moving at a pretty good clip, dude must of hit a patch of something and he ended up losing control and sliding off the road into a ditch. The worse thought in the world is thinking that having 4WD/AWD means you can drive normal in snow/ice. I don't matter if you have 8WD ice=no traction.
