My wife is truly a saint, as I'm sure many can imagine. I can't fathom somebody being more tolerant of or accommodating to me. If they were, I'd shy away due to their obvious mental issues.

Am I the only one that finds it strange to see so many older conservative type "men" so critical of marriage?

I never wanted to get married, and didn't as a young man. But once you reach as certain age (or maybe wisdom just came to me later than most) It becomes blatantly obvious marriage of man and women is the natural order of things.

I wouldn't want to go back to my life of "freedom", while it was fun, it served no purpose and had no meaning.
