Nice Catch!! I have always wanted to cook some Walleye, I've heard it's great table fair..

Me, too. Walleye is on my bucket list and they say there are some in Lanier, but I have yet to connect with one.

I read the reports on Carters about 15yrs ago, they put 100,000 Walleye in. Also heard some being caught now that could rival 10lbs..

Not quite 10 lbs, but this joker caught one just under 7 lbs. on Carters a few years ago. Then released it. I respect that, but like you, have heard they are the best freshwater table fare you can catch.

Also for Walleye in Lake Blue Ridge. I understand they are on the small side there. Watch for the teff though.... I caught some in Michigan in the 70s
