Caught 4 like this, threw them back. In a Burrow Pit at

a hunt camp in Florida this winter. I think that they don’t get much bigger because of the Gators in the pond. I haven’t fished in 50 years.

Took the grand boy and sil today caught 35 had a couple in the 10-12 # range he had a blast didn’t want nothing to do with the fish lol.the wind was a bugger

They only get that big cuz they are over crowded and underfed. Look at how there is zero bulge in the stomach area. Are crappie and other panfish in there?

Yep! When overcrowded, a twelve inch bass can be over four year old. When there is PLENTY of food available, a 12 inch bass can be one year old.
