Tie Down Straps For Side By Side; What Do You Recommend Or Using?

In the next couple of months, I'll be purchasing a Polaris for the upcoming hunting season. What tie down straps do you guys use and/or recommend?

I'd say anything with a 500lb weight limit would be fine. Minimum one strap on front and one on rear

I use my wench on the front, and I go over my back tires with a 3 inch strap nylon!

500lbs? The Ranger 570 dry weight alone is basically 1200.

That seems a little light.

I'm just curious what brand or strap system people are using.

X at least 2 would be 1000lbs. You're not trying to pick it up. But at 1200lbs, maybe a little heavier. Certainly wouldn't hurt. You put X 4 500s, you have 2000lbs. Main thing is it doesn't knaw into the straps

Buy the commercial quality straps with the larger handle and the heavy hooks.
Load strength about 3,000 lbs and break strength about 10,000 lbs.
Have seen the straps frey, the hooks bend and the locking mechanism break on the cheaper versions.

Many consider this overkill, but I have friends who use chains and load binders for the larger Side by Sides.

Yeah, that’s definitely old school and did it 1 million times but the new nylon stuff is just as good if not better! And a heck of a lot easier to work with!

If your going to spend BIG $$$$ on a new ATV I wouldn't go cheap on the straps holding it down. I would go 2.5" to 3" straps with at least 2000lbs each. But that just me, over due it.
