Time for a new barrel

I have taken it to 1000yards once with 55gr bullets. It wasn’t ideal or exactly repeatable but I did hit a 2 liter a few times

At that range with a little 22 sounds pretty good

Man just checked tracking and Southern precision rifles doesn’t play around. My barrel will be delivered to the gunsmith Friday!!

Probably mostly luck. But whatever. lol

I’ll probably only shoot to 500. But if I ever get the chance I’ll take it further.

I was just talking to a friend about this and he suggested trying the 73gr bergers over a load of varget.

varget or imr 4064 are the 2 i like . 4064 seems to do a tiny bit better

Varget is what I use in a match grade AR 223

Previously this rifle really liked H414/W760. Since H414 is discontinued I’ll likely use mostly varget. Since I have a metric **** ton of it. lol. I have 4-5lbs of H414 also.
