time for some free Pest control advice..

PS: Hvac unit is on a raised platform about 8' off the ground. Youd think it would be easy to treat their ingress/egress routes but they will do anything an everything in their power to get to that hvac unit...its like they can smell it & can not give up the fight. They've resorted to climbing OVER the house now for access to wiring to get to the unit...I think I even saw a few parachuting in. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Ants especially fire ants seem to be attracted to electronic fields especially well pumps..I have seen them climbing poles at the street and using wires to walk across to the structure... treat with termidor around the legs.. You have to be very careful when treating in and around electricity..as far as the ground away from the structure use top choice granualInsecticide with Fipronil

What about this stuff?

suspend is a good multipurpose micro-encapsulated product insect killer can be used indoors and outdoors it is a kill on contact though and not what you want for ant control,it will kiil the foregers though..

is the Taurus 9.1 as good as the termidor and can I mix it in with broadcast weed spray to treat the yard
taurus is good you can spray it in the yard I think it is labeled so, I believe it has the same active ingredient. Last I used termidor it was not labeled for yard spraying.you can not do that with termidor

OP,
What's your opinion on termite bonds? I've carried one on my house forever, but I just let it lapse this year. The guy did nothing to treat the house.. Just more or less an insurance policy... Fiber cement siding and stacked stone exterior... Very little exposed wood. Just curious..
I would keep it current, which in your case will probably mean a retreat... it is basicly an insurance policy against termites and termite damage... the old bonds basically were retreat bonds, the new ones are retreat and repair bonds.. my opinion you need one..if there is wood in your home termites will find it..

Sprinkle DE around the house it's all natural and works on all bugs and is cheap 10lb bag is like 7 bucks and last me 3 years
