What exactly do you have clamped in the vise???
I clamp the barrel directly. Dont want that torque applied to upper.

Cool. Couldn't tell from the angle. Seen some folks just slap the upper in the vise.
Engaging the barrel lugs is good.
Toss on shim. Twist on mount . Repeat until done
