She was an amazing lady. Not just a great singer and performer, but not a bad actor too. She carried Thunderdome and her sequence as the Acid Queen in Tommy still amazes me every time I see it.

She also fought well against the hard life that was handed to her.

I just saw this on the news. Damn.

I wasn't a huge fan of Tina Turner back in the day, but respected the hell out of her for what she went through, how she dug her self out of a hole, and became what she was.

She was an amazing talent. RIP Tina. Much respect.
