Finally picked up my can yesterday after more than a year.... stamp was lost in the mail, blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, it's been so long I can't remember what I need to do to get this can running on my EVO. I know there's something with the thread or an adapter or something. Sorry- just can't remember now what I need to purchase. Total brain fart.

Ideally you want the Triad 3 lug adapter http://www.advanced-armament.com/Triad-adapter-for-Ti-Rant-silencers_p_671.html. You just need a 3 lug attachment on your barrel. It's the easiest method as it's quick attach.

Otherwise it's a fixed barrel spacer, and the piston matched to your thread size. DO NOT use the driving spring. You replace it with the fixed barrel spacer. See your owner's manual for details.

I used the older AAC fixed spacer on my AR9.

Now there's a new improved one.

The spring comes out the spacer goes in and bang bang on barrels the don't move.

If you are only running on the Scorpion then I agree the 3 lug is what I'd go with.

Yeah OP if you go the FBS route, get the new and improved one. There's a good explanation in this thread, about 3/4 the way down, from an AAC rep on the improvements made http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_20/478487_AAC-sale---25--off-all-instock-items.html.

I'm one of the users who've had POI issues with the old FBS.

Go to In lead we trust . Matt has a bunch of scorpion barrels at different lengths with the tri lug machined onto to barrel

I have an AAC Eco9 that's direct thread (to an adapter for 1/2x28)
And a Bowers 9s (still being held hostage) with the 3 lug mount.

If there is an option definitely go 3 lug.
But I got my 1/2x28 adapter from EWK Arms.

I haven't received my Tirant 9M yet but my scorpion has 1/2x28 threads. Will I be able to operate it just like I would on my 226 or cz 75?

On a fixed barrel like the Scorpion, you remove the spring and replace with a fixed barrel spacer. If you leave the spring in while shooting on a fixed barrel, you will eventually jackhammer your threads off.
