I assume that Stockton Rush’ desire/ambition to be the next Elon blinded his duty as a CEO and rendered him devoid of all common sense. Unfortunately, it came at the cost of innocent lives.

Watched it last night. Completely preventable! When 3 different reduced scale models failed testing and the owner still built the full size one tells you all you need to know. The popping of the carbon fibers recorded on audio is scary crap. That vessel should never have had people onboard. There's a reason why the United States DOES NOT build submarines out of carbon fiber. Submarines do not go as deep as the the Titan did. The way the owner tried to hide the flaws is just criminal. His own people refused to get in it.
I'm amazed that it went down to the Titanic a few times before it failed.
Yep. But that said, I don't think anything built to go that deep can last forever. I think it all has a service life you just shouldn't ignore.

I'd 100% go down to Titanic with James Cameron in a legit submarine. But you couldn't have paid me a million dollars to get in that rinky dink piece of trash.
