"TITAN" Documentary on Netflix

I'd 100% go down to Titanic with James Cameron in a legit submarine. But you couldn't have paid me a million dollars to get in that rinky dink piece of trash.
Yeah, the old 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride at Disney World was good enough for me.
The ocean has many ways of killing adventurers.

Glad I'm not the only one that remembers that ride. Most people don't know what I'm talking about when I bring it up.
Not sure if it's still there but back in the early 2000's there was a full size replica of the Nautilus at EuroDisney that you could walk through. So cool.

I want to watch it, gotta wait 'til the wife's not around.
She's not into real life tragedy.

Edit: maybe tonight, she's got girl's night out with her NTOW friends.
Mines the complete opposite. If I watched it without her, she'd be PISSED.
Gonna check it out tonight palmettomoon palmettomoon

Instead of peanuts, these were given out----------

I'd say about 7 or 8 for content. Would have liked to have the Coast Guard's findings but they weren't available as of June 2025 when the documentary was released.

GF is an engineer at a carbon fiber air/space manufacturer so I'm keen to ask her opinions on Stockton's (and Oceangate's) "culture" and how that likely caused the failure.

Enjoyed it. Thanks for the reco.
