Picked these up today. Figured they were worth price of admission. Would love ideas of values, my GB checks have given me ballparks on some.

Colt single action army 44. Very pretty rainbow effect, had original grips and the bone grips. Appears unfired.

Walther PPK .22 LR original brown grips, very hard to find.

Smith & Wesson 1910P 44 special. Strange 3 digit serial number with a star at the end.

And my favorite. Finally a browning hi power circa 1972 man she looks new. Had these nice rubber grips but I prefer original, has the original zipper felt lined case.

Was it an expensive day for you? Some really beautiful finds...

Oh yea....picked up a Ruger .22 new model single six as well.

Best of all recovered a small S&W model 37 air weight revolver my granddad sold him years ago. It's not worth much to most and he sold it to me for exactly what he gave my grandfather, still had the box and the tag with my grandfathers writing. It's priceless to me compared to the rest. It and the high power are the only ones really sentimental to me. The high power came off an Atlanta detective it was his ankle hidder I'm told. All old friends of my grandfather.

my first semi auto pistol was a walther ppk 22lr made in germany. still have it but have no idea if the original grips were brown. guess I need to dig out the box and see if there are some brown grips in it.

my first pistol was a colt peacemaker with the 22lr and 22mag cylinders.

good finds you have there!

Nice haul! I like them all, and good on you for retrieving your Grandad's M37!

I would love to see more pictures of the S&W .44. OP side, and the butt.
BTW, S&W, back in the day, used to stamp a star after the SN to denote service work done at the factory. Sometimes a refinish, or other repair work.
If you remove the grips, the guns SN should be stamped on the right grip.
Also, there should be a left side frame stamp, such as 10.30 (October of 1930) which would be the month and year of the factory work.
