Any more opinions, about to go sleep on it and maybe give it another day to think about it.
Keep your truck. Get it paid off. Then drive it till the wheels fall off buy new wheels, etc. I haven't had acar note in 6 years and hope to never have another. You will not save enough in gas.
Crunch the numbers five years out. Trading may make sense if you have a mindset of always having a vehicle payment but if you take the numbers out past where your truck is paid for you'll have a very different set of numbers.
Trust me on this one. Pay off the truck as soon as you can and keep it. And when you can afford to, just buy a good MPG car with cash. If you get a good tax refund just sit on it until about May when the tax time price gouging is over. Don't be on the hook for a car payment for the next 5/6 years. Think about what you could do with that money. You could find a dirt cheap Sentra,Accent, Escort,Rio, etc. for cash and keep your truck. You will ALWAYS need a truck. Can't i just blame it on me being young lol. I do really like the car, but i need to start being and thinking financial smarter. This sucks.
