And then they wand you again, and voila...Go to Walmart (unless you're boycotting it) and buy a cheap-o pocket knife. When they wand you, hand over the knife, enter the Magic Kingdom.

This is absolutely correct...although it is Disney property, it is completely unsecured.Disney Springs shopping area, no security at all.
It's actually really nice. High end shopping and unique dining experiences. Like the rest of Disney, very clean and tidy. The "no security" thing shouldn't imply danger, it's very safe...no riff raff. It just meant that you can carry with impunity there.Hopefully will avoid this area totally - bad enough that am going to Disney
