My brother in law just took his family down a few weeks ago. He said everyone was getting wanded and searched. But he said strollers were barely looked it and he could have stashed his pistol in it.

Go to Walmart (unless you're boycotting it) and buy a cheap-o pocket knife. When they wand you, hand over the knife, enter the Magic Kingdom.

Major parks have limited metal detectors so they pick you at random. Most of the time you get "the wand". Even LEOs have to secure their weapons in the Security office in a lock box. Orange County SO verifies your credentials and escort you "behind the scenes" to secure the weapon.

This is absolutely correct...although it is Disney property, it is completely unsecured.

It's actually really nice. High end shopping and unique dining experiences. Like the rest of Disney, very clean and tidy. The "no security" thing shouldn't imply danger, it's very safe...no riff raff. It just meant that you can carry with impunity there.

Yes I know, but it is the "high end" I am trying to avoid as my tribe of 5 heads that way lol
