Make sure the hammer spring is on top of the pin and not under it. That spring is what retains the trigger pin. After about 60 rounds the pin that holds the trigger group pin in my AR will back out. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
the hammer spring just ended up being bad. Went to a local gunsmith and bought a new spring for a buck fifty. 300 rounds later and no problemsI know this is a few days old, but before you go wasting money on useless kns pins, why don't you check to see if you installed the trigger correctly. If the hammer pin is walking, be sure that the hammer has a J-Spring installed.
Thankfully it didn't cost you much and was an easy fix. But what exactly was wrong with it?the hammer spring just ended up being bad. Went to a local gunsmith and bought a new spring for a buck fifty. 300 rounds later and no problems
