Does anyone have any extra plywood, osb, paneling, plywood siding, or any othe boards?

Also looking for 2x4 metal fencing or chicken wire. Any metal fencing will help.

Or can someone point me in the direction of a good lumber yard near woodstock? Im trying to finish building a chicken coop where someone gave me an old metal framed shed that i tore down and repainted. Now its time for 1 or 2 sides of wall, 2 or 3 sides of wire, a floor, and a roof. Then come nesting boxes and roosting bars.

Im also planning out their outside run for when i am gone overnight and cant let them out occasionally.

Here are a few pics of the process so far, i need to finish it in the next 2 weeks for the brooding chicks.

Do like my neighbor, get drunk EVERYDAY and take over 2 weeks to do it. Eventually it'll come together with wood patches, wires, assorted nails and even duct tape

THAT is pretty clever. You could even use the cross bars to put in a sun/rain shade or roosting boxes.

OP: If you've got time, cruise around behind commercial office/shop strips. Lots of scrap shipping containers and crates contain good lumber and plywood. You might have to splice some of it together, but you can't beat "free" (time == money).

I like that idea for the run. Everything i have so far including the chickens and food they came with have been free. Just had to buy paint and concrete blocks. Trying to do it very cost effectively.

I will go out sometime in the next few days behind industrial parks. Thats a good idea. Probably not gonna find the wire i need there...

Bahahaha!

Sounds like a few projects me and @FrogHunter have done in the past. We usually sit around drinking beer and talking about a project for at least two weeks before we ever even get started!
