Oh yeah I know that from experience. First wife shot herself in our walk in closet standing in front of over 30 guns. Next day while I was making funeral arrangements I got a call from the ATF. They wanted to see everything I had. Never did tell me why or what they were looking for and I never heard from them again.

The ATF will let you turn a pistol into a rifle but not a rifle into a pistol. strange
