Ultrasonic cleaners

So you put the baffles or whatever your cleaning in your cleaning agent inside of a mason jar and just keep water in the tub?

Yep. I have found that a hard container works better than a plastic one. Makes cleanup easy, and if you do use cleaning reagents, you don't need to use as much.

When I'm cleaning brass for reloading though, or doing a whole pistol frame, I'll do that in the tub - but for that, I tend to use milder reagents. I know you're not looking at cleaning brass, but if you ever do, you have to be careful about the concentration of acids in your mix - basically, if the pH is low enough, the process will strip zinc from the brass, making it look pink, and which can affect the mechanical properties of the brass.
