FIRED some rounds thru it (as if you could fire some rounds outside of it… )

Does it really matters?

I don’t think it matters much…..after all, they do fire them at the factory before they are packed up and all .
It ain’t like they put 1,000 rounds through them or anything. Not that it would matter much if they did ….you are buying a quality made firearm it should last a million rounds provided it is properly maintained.

Folks post their adds here, and they make sure to “mention” that, with the intention that it would bump their price better, I think.🤔

I actually have several new purchases that I have not (yet). Its still bs and irrelevant, its a used weapon.
It kicks me when I see a 45 yr old weapon advertised fur sail by a 30 yr old as unfired...really

I'm with bambam 's S&W collector on this. I want a cash bond and sworn and notarized affidavit attesting to the unfired condition of the firearm. Complete provenance, names of all factory workers and resumes, distributor's warehouse personnel who may have handled it, original FFL sailor's sworn statements, etc.

I just assume that unfired means "unfired by me" aka "I'm flipping this so quickly I haven't had time to go to the range yet"
