Unknown Wildlife Markings

We live in eastern Cherokee County and have a variety of wildlife passing through our property daily, lots of deer and coyote

. My wife was out checking our fence line and ran across some odd looking scratch marks on the ground. My wife's foot is a size 6. We suspect they may be coyote, armadillo or black bear. Have any of you run across these markings before? What's the critter?

Put a cheap camera on the tree and you'll probably see some hens scratching about every 3-4th day
