I bought a Remington 700 Tactical great price. $530 after $100 factory rebate. I used a Leupold VR-X Patrol, Boyd's stock. I did the Duracoat. Urban camo:) Turned out sweet! Its in .308 win I cant wait to go shoot it in. I have a Timney trigger on order for it.

The Duracoat is:
Base coat Black
I used 3m Blue tape to cut the camo patterns. BTW granite countertops make great cutting boards:) pissed my wife off lol.
added camo patterns and 2nd coat Grey. then final camo patterns and White. Then I dusted it with black and Satin finished it. What do you think Urban camo the receiver and barrel too? IDK it might be to much?

This was the goal

The trigger

Finished gun (Minus the trigger its not here yet)

I would vote to do black or gray on the barreled action. I've never been a fan of an all camo rifle. Now if you plan on shooting colorblind targets then by all means.

I'm with Twitch......solid black or gray on the metal. As long as you don't have any issues with rust, I'd leave it the way it is.
