i doubt this is true in everycase, but saving $150 a case over 6k rounds leaves them with $900 for a new barrel...i think that can get done IF necessary and if they dont just want to go buy a decent new rifle with the savings. shooting steel is a no-brainer unless you are in target competition or reloading.

Sounds like Tul really skimps on the amount of powder they use, they keep getting mentioned as not cycling certain guns...

The .380 Tula sucks. I haven't heard anything bad about the other calibers.

I probably should clarify, the Tulammo will not seat in the chamber and bolt or slide will not close and gets stuck. Took me 20 minutes to get the slide open again. I thought it was one bad round so I tried to chamber another and the same thing happened. Both my daughters have Bodyguards so I tried the other daughters gun and it happened the same with her's. Those round ball projectiles that Tul uses arent seated in the case enough or something.. I measured the case and the case was in same as Federal. Someone told me it was the lacquer on the steel case but it is the shape or length of the bullet.

My M&P 45 loves the Tulammo, I have put over 150 rounds through it with no issues. As for my M&P 40c and Beretta 96 I couldn't tell ya, haven't found any Tulammo in 40 lately

I used to be worried about the same thing, had heard it could cause lacquer build up and other issues so I posted the same question on ODT and afte everyone sharing their experiences I started using it, no issues and have shot the crap out of some Tulla, the only thing I have to say is that it is a good bit dirtier use a good lubricant beforehand to help with cleaning.

I thinkd you shaould shoot what you want to.
For me I only shoot brass, I reload most of my ammo.
