Mr Braxton, could you explain the difference in the categories? I’d like to shoot my custom Sig with optic and staccato with optic
Assuming that your SIG is a P320, then you'd fall into the Carry Optics Division. The Staccato would go into Open Division.
It's a little strange, but because of the Single Action trigger, the Staccato doesn't work for CO. Carry Optics Division guns must have either a Double-Action first pull or a Striker-fired action, so Glocks, M&Ps, P320s, Caniks, and CZ Shadow2 variants rule the roost there.
