Well, it's completely obvious even to a blind man/woman.

Their gun laws are just too lax. They have to TIGHTEN their gun LAWS.

EVERYONE KNOWS criminals obey laws. It's obvious, right?

So by OUTLAWING ALL FIREARMS the violence will simply stop because when firearms are ILLEGAL they won't be around any more!

Really, how often does this need explanation?
