I was at the counter trying to get some ammo to take the wife shooting tom.(Of course the shelves were absolutely bare) And the clerk was telling them that the Gov is trying to make ammo manufacturers put a additive in primers to give them a shelf life of 6 months.

Thats absolute bull.
Thanks Wally world for spreading the fear even more then it already is. Now I will never be able to buy ammo again.

That's funny... I was told the same thing at my local Walmart. I asked him, "how would anyone know (including Law Enforcement) what ammo works and what doesn't?" He didn't have an answer. How could that even be safe for a person to use? You can search the net for "limited life primers" if you want to learn about what they are talking about. seems to be left over from some 2008 legislation.
