Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

The irony is nothing has happened nor will it happen for quite some time if and when it does. Instead of hoarding and panic buying maybe people should put the same time and effort into writing their representatives, congress people and senators etc. and supporting pro-2a movements like the NRA etc. Gun enthusiasts and shooters seem to be validating and creating their own ammo/gun shortages by creating a self fulfilling prophecy reacting to the fear of what might happen, much to the delight of anti 2a supporters and the gun and ammo manufacturers world-wide who will sell everything they have and then double the price. The whole thing is absolutely retarded!, no wonder the liberals get whatever they want to get accomplished. All the liberals have to do is threaten a ban, not even initiate a legitimate bill or moreover actually get one passed and the firearm community turns into a bunch of panic stricken cattle being led right to the slaughter houses, with little to no opposition, other than making sure they hoard as much ammo and whatever firearms and accessories they assume will be banned.

Wal-Mart in Carrollton had a few box of 45colt for 26.98 a box and a few other odd calibers. Bremen had like 5 box of 30-30 and some 17hmr and shotgun shells but hardly nothing else.

Stopped by Walmart in Macon on Zebulon Rd. this morning and it was pretty bare. No only thing I saw was a few boxes of .40, one box of .380, some 12 gauge, and some expensive hunting caliber ammo. No .223, .22, 9mm, .45, .357, .44 mag... I could tell the guy working the ammo counter was exhausted from answering calls and questions all morning.
