Any thoughts on the Walther PPQ 45?

My purposes for the gun are : home defense, conceal carry in the winter, range gun

Just trying to get some opinions on this one before I purchase. They have an awesome rebate going on now so its tempting. Currently available for 519 before 100 dollar rebate. Please comment opinions on this model

I've only fondled and it felt good in the hands. After deep consideration I went with a Glock 41 based on accessories price and familiarity

Thanks, I was thinking of the Glock 21 as a second runner up due to after market support and magazine prices

I've had one for a year or so now... the M2 model is very, very accurate and has one of the better triggers out there on a polymer gun. The ergonomics are somewhat similar to the VP9, but with fewer options.

Mag size is only 12, so I don't know if I'd want it for home defense, and it's pretty hefty so concealed carry will be a challenge as well.

To my mind it's a nice range gun and would be cool to shoot in a sport. It would also be good as a vehicle pistol since size doesn;t count for much there, and you could store extra mags with it.
