Want to know why intelligent CITIZENS dont like cops?

I guess it must jut be me and my shining personality but I have never really had a bad encounter with the police since I was a teen. When I did have a bad experience it was because I brought it on myself.

My family and I recently went through a very traumatic event and I have to say that the local police, FBI and Federal Prosecutors were absolutely fantastic. I was so impressed by their professionalism and compassion. I have nothing but praise for them and the job they do.

Based on that, I guess I am one of the unintelligent citizens out there. If that be the case then so be it....I would rather be dumb than smart like you!

what about seatbelt, lights, smog, tag covers, following too closely... any # of bull**** reasons to pull someone over. its all about obedience. brah

Where in the constitution does it say you have the right to drive? Seems pretty simple to me, if you want to engage in the activity, rules need to be adhered to. If you don't like dealing with rules and civility, don't drive.... Problem solved

If I lived my life worrying about every bad apple in every profession, it would be a pretty crappy life..... I'd be worried when I went to church, when I bought food prepared by someone else, when I trusted a lawyer, when I hired a contractor, when I visited a doctor, when I get put under for dental work, the list goes on and on and on

Look up videos on bad things happening with any of the above.....
I think most would agree these bad apples are more dangerous than the any profession you have stated, considering that they are all governed by some type of leo. be complacent, your ignorance only sets you and other americans up for disaster

where does it say that you don't?

clearly you got nothing from what I said, I could honestly give 2 ****s about some hood rat running or the ins and outs of the case. what it was about is people like you that think the government is designed to protect itself instead of the people.

Not sure how you got that from my post. I guess neither one of us got anything from each others posts?

You think it is about money....hmmm....explain how the actions in that video you posted brought in money for the police department.

The way I see it, the justice system costs us money, it is not a money making venture. The fines associated with minor violations merely serves to offset some of the costs. I really doubt that many police departments actually make money.
