Wanting to get into “laid back” competition shooting

I think the most laid back match for rifles is at River Bend, the 100 Yard Match/Clinic. I think its usually the last Saturday of each month. Good instruction and fun shooting at 100 Yards.

It's the 4th Sat in each month(for those months that have 5 Saturdays)
Yes, it's a great match
I plan to shoot my M1A at the match this month as practice for the M1A 200yrd match Mar 2nd.

Also just to throw it out there any competition can be laid back if that's how you treat it. Just like you can take anything super serious and competitively. We've got guys and gals that shoot our uspsa match that take it super casually and make it more of a social gathering. A few squads over we've got multiple Grand Masters taking care of business prepping for major matches. It's all about what you want to put in to it.
