Was I too personal, asking these questions

It's reasonable (to me) to ask some basic questions about a new member.

If they don't like that and won't answer, that would be a concern for me. So I'd move on...

Via PM where the person PMing me to purchase something I posted, I saw they joined today, so my reply when asked to call a phone number to communicate the deal,
let me know if I went too far, if so what would y0u do new no feedback or details on profile,
"
I see you just joined up today, all deals should be communicated via these PM's per forum recommendations. You can see much abut me and my rep on the trader, I know nothing about you, if ya don't mind whatya do for a living, are ya over 21, are ya a felon, are ya legal to own the Pistol per Fed and Ga law."
So you ment to say hey. You the ATF ? Lol.. gotta weed out the rotten apples right out the gate

Newbies are a mixed bag. I’ve done a deal with one that’s was a bit flighty on meeting up, but turns out he just had a hectic life. Ended up a great member. Another I bought a gun from was pretty good commo but just “ weird “: Ended up after knowing him I wished he lived near me so we could be close for shooting. I’ve had a few others that just ghosted , didn’t reply etc. Gotta go with your feelings. Your sale your rules !
