A commercial diver friend of mine got one. The idea is sound for sat ditch efforts on a bull shark or something, but he cross threaded the screw putting it back together and he said it was easy to do. It is now useless to him. Not sure he has warranty status as it was payment in exchange for services.
I finally watched the vid and it appears that the instant release of CO2 had enough pressure to crack the watermelon so all the subsequent gas pressure just blew on out of their. A small regulator in the handle would be cool. Or even a small valve so you only let out a small amount of pressure and not wasting an entire 12gr at once.
Chopper duke nailed it, this was developed as an alternative to the bang stick for divers. My opinion? Its freakin badass and I want one
