Notify the ASPCA (American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of the deputies action along with filing a complaint with the Sheriff’s Office. I saw that loser shoulder bump then try and shove the South Carolina player after he made a touchdown. He should be charged with assault and battery just like anyone that shoved him would be and then fired. Arrogant, entitled, chicken**** POS.

It sounds like the cop did the wrong thing but he may not have done it out of anger or hatred of the little kitten --but instead he wanted to scare it from coming back to the road again where it was likely to get killed.

So, maybe by flinging it off the road with force he caused it to run away from the road rather than back toward the road .
