There was no air conditioning in the home where I grew up in Middle Georgia.

The first truck I owned did not have AC. It had those triangle windows and a side vent.

Would I own a home or an auto without an AC today? Not a chance

Same, but in Oklahoma, was raised in a trailer house with three sisters, myself, mom and dad...no A/C, we did have a swamp cooler though. I don't believe I had an conditioned vehicle until I was around 23 years old, I bought my own first car when I was 15.

I didn't have A/C in the 50's in Georgia....lets take a vote
didn't have it in school either...50's...60's...or 70's......

Agreed! I keep it 62 degrees in the house in the winter and love it! I can always throw more layers in to get warm but there isn't any relief from hot.
