Generator has been running 27 hours. Trees down everywhere and power lines across several streets. AEMC has called in reserves and hopefully we’ll have power the first of the week.. Some neighbors can’t get out because the street is blocked with trees tangled with power lines. Pickens had about 25K or so without power and it’s down to less than 15K.
WOW....I had a tree stand attached to a tree that looked like that once.....
well 9K + sounds like a lot but when the main power is out for hours and hours or days and days you just smile at your smart investment!! Longest I have been without power in years up here in Jasper is the 11 seconds it takes for the generator to kick on.
Well it finally got to us 7:30ish last night.
Knocked the power out till 10:00 this morning.
What a MESS. Go-n out to start some clean up.

Had a big red oak fall on 2 of my cars. Good times.

Yep, I lost power 8:10 last night and finally got it back at 11:00 am this morning. No trees down. I fired up 2 generators.
I think I'm going to invest in a big full house generator gas backup.
