We got ‘til 1am on the HPA/SHORT Act🚨

So the solution is to have the Republican controlled Georgia General assembly amend our law to say, in a nutshell
"any machine guns, silencers, short rifles or shotguns, or destructive devices, that are legal under federal law shall also be legal under this state law."
If suppressors become federally legal July 4th. I would guess AG Carr will declare nolle prosequi until the legislature takes up the issue.

Here ya go. Could backfire, the whole thing. Might get a new tax rate adjusted for inflation.

$3.3 Billion vs $140 Million annually if adjusted for inflation according to her numbers.

Is it bad I'm now realizing that they knew this could happen all along and this was the whole point of including it in the bill? Not a total conspiracy theorist, but if it quacks like a duck...

I sure hope I don't need to pick up another suppressor (or two) before this bill passes. When will we know that this is going to be in the bill?

Listened to the video and her saying "We might discourage the sale of silencers and wouldn't that be a good thing" made my skin crawl.

They're all about emotion, doesn't matter that suppressors are rarely if EVER used in criminal activity. That's not the point of course. It's about "control" and revenue. Two things congress cannot get enough of.

Article says," Democrats say,,,,,", but it sounds like babies and losers to me.

It is time.

📞 TAKE ACTION:
The next battle? The SHORT Act — a GOA-backed bill to eliminate ALL federal restrictions on short-barreled rifles, shotguns, and "any other weapons" (AOWs).

Call the Senate Finance Committee at 202-224-4515 to push for the SHORT Act language to be included in H.R. 1. Hearing from constituents will show the committee they have tremendous support from gun owners across the nation!

🛑 H.R. 1 is now in the Senate Finance Committee. And this committee is THE ONE committee that can easily include this language into H.R. 1.

Once this is done, we will only need 51 votes — a simple majority — to pass this on the Senate floor. No filibuster. No excuses.

Here's what you can do:

📞 Call the Senate Finance Committee—at 202-224-4515—and urge them to insert the SHORT Act into H.R. 1
