Welding

can I get opinions on my welds, I've been teaching myself for a while now, I know they aren't great but opinions and suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm using a tig Lincoln 225 dc- pulse set to about 100 pulses a minute

Fair welds, I separate my metals using a penny seems to be the perfect distance to get a clean smooth weld, try that, the Army's welding course teaches this as a standard.

The welding school welder moto " if I can't be the best welder than I will become the best grinder operator our there."

Boogerhook, that would be considered "Peening" not allowed by ASME, AWS, or API standards, if this is indeed GTAW welding.

Not trying to be critical Booger, just my 34 years as a Senior Certified Weld Inspector, stating code, Apology if offended.

None taken. My point was simply that pretty welds can fail.All I can do is slice them open for inspection and check them with Thor.
