...but i'll never be raising my own Thanksgiving dinner again unless i have to. Between the feed, the cleaning and everything else involved these things are a pain. The 3 of them did a number on my yard. A turkey certainly scratches a lot harder in grass than a chicken. Keeping the hen for now so we can enjoy turkey egg omelettes come spring time. Now i am researching the perfect brine recipe. Feel free to chip in tips and advice on brining and deep frying in general. The MiL will be baking one and i will be frying the other.
