Yes Weller 12 is really nice. So is the antique. Never tried Special Reserve, but it is something I'd love to try.
Speaking of Buffalo Trace, how long ago did they buy Pappy? I can't remember but I'm sure with their processing ability they would increase production just a little bit. But then again it is 10 years for the cheapest of the pappy's and on from there.

I have antique in the cabinet and it's more expensive and not as good as special reserve...IMHO.

I accidentally got deep in some Antique last year in the 4th qtr of the UGA-Mizzoo game. me and a buddy were at his house and broke out the bottle. I was already a little tipsy and didn't notice those weren't old-fashion glasses. Turns out they were juice glases and we filled them puppies up. Woke up on the sofa with an empty juice glass on the table. Good times.

I had to go to the Lawyers today and went to the booze shop also. Because of your opinion, I did pick up a bottle of Weller Special Reserve. I will sample it tonight and see how it is..Funny that when I went in there, it was not on the shelf. I asked about it and the owner said wait a minute and I will check in the back. He came back and said he had been holding one bottle, that had never been picked up..Boy that is a whopper of a bottle but it sits with the others now..Look forward to trying it.

I accidently on purpose got sloshed off 4 roses single barrel on two different occasions in the last year. Once last year when Trump got elected. Every state he won I poured another. That was a terrible hangover....couldn't enjoy the win as much the next day and I had to be on a plane too. The second was the 5th district election.....another win and another hangover. That one not so bad but a 2 day recovery still!

I had 2 jugs of Weller's sitting around for quite a while, forgotten. I got a case of ginger beer on a whim plus a bag of limes. Next thing I knew, few weeks down the road, the bourbon was gone. Call me filthy names but that's a delicious drink.
