went to new Gander mountain in McDonough today

I swore off Gander Mountain last year due to their prices. In the era of social media where word can spread as fast as lightning and the ability to price shop online, I honestly don't know how they keep their doors open.

i couldnt tell ya

last time i went in the prices were far too high. i feel like once i see the range i know better than to ever bother going back

Gander matched all three purchases that I was able to find better on the inter tubes. I Got 3x 1400 rnd Remington buckets for $69.95 each less 10% because I bought a gun also. Nice place and helpful employees. I'll be going back, with a site that has what I'm look for for with a good price on the tablet punter, and if you find a better price after you have 14 days.

Wonder why they don't make a point to advertise the price matching......

I don't mind haggling for a good deal, but to me, buying basic items shouldn't have to be like buying a used car. I guess the way I look at it is if I know that WalMart or Academy is going to be cheaper, why not just go there rather than waste time/gas just to do a price match.

Meh, I'm not too worried, simple economics will dictate fate.

There was one in Tuscaloosa where I moved here from and they had the same high prices being spoken of. The only positive thing about them was that they offered a warranty on everything.
