Nice pics! We got some Killer Whale pics (literally) while we were in Victoria BC recently....first time we have seen them.

Yes, every winter they migrate up the east coast of Australia from Antarctica to have their calves in the warmer northern waters. I live on a large shallow, and warm, bay where they stop on the wary north and on the way back to feed and nurture their calves. I have even seen them out front of my house.

I was at the bar the other night with my buddy having some beers. We had been there a while when two large girls came up to the bar and ordered some drinks. I noticed when they ordered they both had strong accents so I said ‘Hi, are you two girls from Scotland?’ One of them spoke up, with quite an attitude and said ‘it’s WALES you idiot!!!’

So I immediately said ‘Sorry, are you two Whales from Scotland?’
